The punctuation (or lack of) after "like you" and "above" threw me off a bit. I really enjoyed this... a lot, but for some reason i felt the first part was incomplete... and that the second was an extension, but not expressed as one...
the first part (up until "like you") it felt as if you were making a conceit... and then suddenly forgot to prove it to me.
while the second felt whole and beautifully crafted, but extended from the first.
I am not sure really. I found it stunning, but incomplete. I wish i could be more helpful.
